Yang Kai

native name is Yang Weifan, original family home in Xianyou Fujian, style himself is “Jiuli lake humble cottage householder”, “Songlin humble cottage householder”, and “Xianyou Mulan brookside people”, he was born in Chongqiong, he used to live in Gulangyu islet of Xiamen when he was a child and young, emigrated to Macau in 80s of the last century.

Mr. Yang was born in a scholarly family, painting family. Since 1970s, he already was a well-known youth painter, his artistic creation effected by family, got the authentic tradition of his family’s “Yang landscape”, meanwhile blend in more style of Lingnan school, his painting works often joined fine arts exhibition from place to place, Mr. Yang is low profile, his style of painting is grand and magnificent, composition of severeness, inherited previous ideas, integration of Chinese and western, inherited and carrying forward the unique skills of  “Yang” landscape’s banian, ocean, rock.
